Directions for the authors of the papers

 

 

General Directions

 

  • Vox Philosophiae only publishes Philosophy articles, unpublished translations of philosophical texts, critical notes or book reviews.

  • The contributions must be unpublished, in the language or in the shape in which they are published in Vox Philosophiae Journal.

  • Vox Philosophiae publishes texts in Romanian, French, English and German.

  • The articles must be sent to the editorial staff at the e-mail address voxphilosophiae AT aol.com (in Word or Open Office format and not in .pdf). The people resonsible for the Journal are Sorin Claudiu MARICA and Cora Matei.

  • If it's possible, we would prefer if the articles have a maximmum length of 15 000 words.

  • All the articles must come with a short summary and five keywords in Romanian and/or English.

  • Once we receive the article, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.

  • The editorial staff is doing its best to publish the article in due time. Normally, an evaluation takes between three and eight weeks.

  • The assessment of the texts is made by two members of the reading comitee. The members will not know the names of the authors and vice versa.

 

Writing conventions:

2. Titles, subtitles

a) titles: heading 1
b) subtitles: heading 2, 3, 4.


Quotations:

a) quotations which do not exceed three lines may be given in text, between quotation marks

b) if the quotation exceeds 3-4 lines:

– Format + indent


Quotation marks: according to the ortographic rules of the language


Bibliography

a) Books:

Author, Title, publishing house.

b) Articles from collective works:

Author, ”Title of the article”, in , Title, publishing house, pages.

c) Articles in journals:

Author, < Title of the article”, in Name of the journal, / , publishing house, pages.
