The openings made possible by Edmund Husserl’ philosophical research and later by his many disciples, continue even today, after more than hundred years from the publication of his Logical Investigations, to produce philosophical positions of an extreme fecundity. Their heteroclite character might mislead, giving the impression of a dissemination of the phenomenology itself in more separate and autonomous “phenomenologies”. In reality, this dissemination is an answer to an inherent request of the phenomenology, the necessity to adequate the phenomenological description to the described object. This adequacy implies the necessity of the establishment of many types of phenomenology equal to the number of the domains of the possible objects of study. Phenomenology and the ”omni-temporal” truths to which it allows the access, were raised by Husserl in his later writings to the level of instruments of the regulator ideal according to which man becomes the correlate of a teleological project, of a infinite task of the adequation of the knowledge to the world. This “rational teleology” has determined us to publish a special issue aiming to make visible to the Romanian researchers, the study axes that were made possible by the contemporary phenomenology.
